The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended trade sanctions on goods originating in the Russian Federation until 2022.
As the Interfax-Ukraine,
The government made the corresponding decision on Wednesday without discussion.
The document amends Government Resolution No. 1166 of December 30, 2015, which, in turn, provides for a restriction on the import of products originating in Russia.
Thus, since January 2, 2016, the so-called "most favored nation regime" of the WTO has been in effect for Russian goods, which provides for the application of higher import duty rates instead of the zero rate that applied to some Russian goods in accordance with the agreement on the regime of free trade between the CIS countries.
