Today, in some regional centers in Ukraine, there are actually not enough beds for people with coronavirus infection. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said this at the government meeting on Wednesday.
A large number of city leaders clearly understand the importance of observing quarantine measures at the level of regions and cities, because they see the real picture of the current burden on hospitals and doctors. There are some cities where occupancy reaches 90%, today there is a shortage of places in such hospitals, and in fact there are none in some regional centers," Shmyhal said.
According to him, people are placed in district and regional hospitals, respectively, and should be routed to where such patients are transported from regional centers.
