The President of Ukraine, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has replaced the leadership of the Odesa regional military-civil administration.
Instead of Sergey Hrynevetskyi, he became a military officer - Colonel Maksym Marchenko, former commander of the mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign.
Maksym Marchenko took a direct part in the hostilities in the east of Ukraine, many successful military operations were conducted under his command.
The officer was born on February 10, 1983 in Slavyansk, Donetsk region. In 2005, he graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Tank Troops, and was a student of the Command and Staff Institute of the Use of Troops at the National University of Defense of Ukraine.
