People's deputy Lyudmila Buimister, who voted against the bill on oligarchs, was expelled from the Servant of the People faction. The relevant decision was read by the Chairman of the Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk during the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada.
"Information came from the Servant of the People faction, which says that in accordance with part 3 of Art. 60 of the Law "On the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada" we inform about the exclusion of Buimister Lyudmila Anatolyevna from the parliamentary faction of the "Servant of the People" political party in the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation, Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
Initially, the head of the faction Davyd Arakhamia and the leader of the party Alexander Korniyenko stated that the reason for the exclusion of Buymister from the monomajority was her vote "against" the draft law "on oligarchs" submitted to the parliament by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
However, the people's deputy said that on October 18, during the meeting of the monomajority, Arahamia called the reason for her exclusion the fact that she had expressed positions on various political talk shows that contradicted factional ones.
It will be recalled that for the first time the expulsion of Lyudmila Buimister from the "Servant of the People" faction was discussed on October 4. Then it was said that leaving the "SN" faction would lead to the early termination of Ludmila Buimister's parliamentary powers.
