Very soon, on October 5, the results of the second round of the National rating of influence "Elite of Ukraine" will be summarized. This was reported by the organizing committee of the "Elit of Ukraine" National Influence Rating, founded by the International Expert Club and rating agency "ElitExpert".
300 candidates are participating in the second round: ten of the most influential people from each region and 60 high-ranking persons and government officials of Ukraine who did not take part in the first regional round. Experts will determine the 100 best who will become the new elite of Ukraine.
It is also worth noting that in addition to the traditional criteria of influence, experts evaluate openness, public trust, patriotism and moral qualities, which makes the project unique for our country.
As Elena Ovchynnikova, head of the organizing committee of the National Influence Rating of "Elite of Ukraine", told, ordinary Ukrainians also actively participated in the process - thousands of our fellow citizens voted for the candidates as part of online voting.
— We are witnessing unprecedented excitement - Ukrainians from every corner of the country are voting for their regional winners and state leaders. The closer to the end of the second stage, the more people vote. At the same time, there is no clear favorite - the leaders change several times during the day, - said Elena Ovchinnikova.
For example, at the moment, the people of Kyiv are voting for their mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, Lviv - for Ashot Abrahamyan (head of the board of the bank "Lviv") and Svyatoslav Bachynskyi (human rights defender). Yug stands for representatives of large enterprises: Odessites give preference to the General Director of the Odesskabel enterprise Dmitry Iorgachev, and residents of Nikolaev to the General Director of "Nibulon" Alexey Vadaturskyi. Kharkiv followed in the footsteps of Kyiv: here they vote for the mayor Gennady Kernes.
The candidate who leads the hundred will be awarded 1000 points, the second place 990 points, the third place - 980 points, and so on.
