From September 25 to October 8, 2021, the entire personnel of the criminal police and investigative units of Ukraine has been transferred to enhanced work mode. Such an order was issued by the head of the National Police, Igor Klymenko.
It is reported that the police will work overtime, but no more than 12 hours a day and six days a week.
According to the publication "Ukrainskaya Pravda", which published a scanned copy of the corresponding order, this measure is connected "with the aggravation of the criminal situation on the territory of the state, connected with the commission of serious criminal offenses that caused a great resonance in society."
Also, the enhanced regime is introduced "in order to carry out preventive measures to stabilize the situation."
