In Ukraine, the cost of issuing an ID card and passport has increased

Due to the increase in prices for raw materials and materials

Since January 1, the state-owned enterprise "Ukraine Printing Plant" will change the cost of individual biometric document blanks due to the increase in prices for raw materials and materials. This was reported in the State Migration Service.

In this regard, the total cost of issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad will increase.

The first registration of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine remains free.

And re-making a passport in the form of an ID card up to 20 working days will cost UAH 372. (previously UAH 345), up to 10 working days – UAH 498. (previously UAH 471).

At the same time, the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad costs up to UAH 20 when issued within 733 working days. (previously 682 hryvnias), and up to seven working days and up to three working days, in case of availability, 1085 hryvnias.

"Citizens of Ukraine who have paid for administrative services and submitted applications for processing documents by December 31 will receive documents at the old price," the HMS noted.
