A family service for issuing passports is being launched in Ukraine. Now citizens of Ukraine can simultaneously issue passport documents for themselves and their children. This was reported by press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In particular, parents will be able to issue simultaneously:
— ID card and passport for traveling abroad for yourself;
— an ID card and a foreign passport, as well as a foreign passport for children under 14 years old;
— an ID card for yourself, as well as a foreign passport for children under 14 years old.
Such a service can be obtained from one of the legal representatives for:
— A person who has not reached the age of 14.
— A person recognized by the court as having limited legal capacity or incapacity.
To receive the service, it is necessary to submit an application and relevant documents to the Department of Internal Affairs, the "Passport Service" service center in Ukraine or abroad, or to the Central Administrative Office.
Pay attention, if the child, for whom a foreign passport is issued, has turned 12 years old, his presence during the submission of documents is mandatory.
