Massive cyberattacks continue in Ukraine

The mailing takes place from real mail servers of the judiciary

Mass cyberattacks that took place on January 13 and 14 continue in Ukraine. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security.

Since January 28, mailings with ostensibly judicial requests have been sent to the official addresses of the judiciary. At the same time, malicious software (a virus) is downloaded from the links in the letter.

"The problem is aggravated by the fact that the mailing takes place from real mail servers of the judiciary. Thus, letters pass spam filters and cause much more trust," the message reads.

Specialists note that it is possible that only individual court addresses are compromised, although it should not be ruled out that the entire mail server may be compromised.

We will remind you that it was organized on the night of January 14 global attack on Ukrainian government websites, as well as on the site of the Diya service. The Ministry of Digital Transformation stated that all the evidence points to the fact that Russia is behind the cyber attack on the government websites of Ukraine.
