Concert "Ukroboronprom" together with a number of other enterprises engaged in innovative military development - to protect the country's external borders, Ukraine develops... combat robots. People's Deputy Dmitry Solomchuk informs about this in his Telegram channel.
So, soon in Ukraine they will begin to develop their own models of combat robots. Their feature will be the fact that the crew will not be needed for control, only a remote operator. An agreement on cooperation in this area has already been signed by the enterprises of JSC "Meridian" named after Korolev, the innovative holding Sikorsky Challenge and the team of developers of the "Mobile combat robots" project.
This project is a practical implementation of one of the innovative domestic ideas for the defense sector, the People's Deputy states. According to him, unmanned robots will be needed for logistical and reconnaissance tasks in the war zone with Russia. In addition, they will be able to directly participate in battles: provide fire support, engage in mine clearance, cover fighters and much more.
