Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Ministry of Defense to ensure peacekeeping in the DPR and LPR by Russian armed forces.
"In connection with the appeals of the heads of the DPR and LPR, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation shall ensure the implementation of peacekeeping functions by the armed forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of the republics before the conclusion of the agreement," the presidential decree says.
He also ordered the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare a treaty on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.
Meanwhile, a video appeared on the network from residents of ORDLO that the Russian Federation has already begun to introduce troops — military convoys of armored vehicles are already entering the occupation of the city.
Volunteer Yury Biryukov confirmed these statements.
