State Enterprise Sea Trade Port "Yuzhny" will buy two portal cranes from the Finnish manufacturing company Mantsinen Group LTD OY for 290 million hryvnias.
According to the press service of the port, there are no analogues of such technology in Ukraine.
Port "Yuzhny" bought from the manufacturer a full-turn hydraulic gantry crane-handover with an autonomous movement system complete with Mantsinen 300ES/1 and a full-turn hydraulic gantry crane-handover complete with Mantsinen 300ES/2. The new equipment will arrive at the port by the end of this year. It will be used at berths for processing iron ore concentrate, pellets and coal.
The load capacity of each loader is 20 tons with a lifting height of 22 m and a boom reach of 25 m. The maximum reach of the boom is 40 m. The capacity of each crane is 20 thousand. tons per day.
The new cranes are equipped with grapples with a volume of 4,6 and 12 cubic meters, hook suspensions, spare parts kits, as well as a diesel generator set for autonomous movement.
