Debts of thermal energy producers threaten the heating season in some settlements of 15 regions. Naftogaz Ukrainy JSC reported this.
As of March 25, 56 heat and power enterprises do not fulfill any of the requirements for obtaining gas within the limits of special obligations. For the provision of gas in April, these companies must pay more than UAH 820 million.
"Naftogaz" published a list of critical debtors so that residents of each region could check whether the local enterprise teplokommunenergo is included in it.
Note that the largest number of debtors appeared in the Odesa region, where 14 companies owe Naftogaz for gas. Kyiv (10), Kharkiv (7) and Dnipropetrovsk (6) regions are next. The full list of debtors can be found at link.
In order to protect their customers and successfully complete the entire heating season, heat producers must fulfill the mandatory conditions of gas supply (provided by Resolution of the CMU of October 19, 2018 No. 867).
"Naftogaz calls on heat producers to bring their calculations to the proper level. Providing heat to Ukrainians during the heating season is an important task," the company noted.
