In Odesa, two managers of a medical institution will be put on trial for having squandered UAH 3,5 million of "corrupt" money.
This is reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
In April of last year, one of the deputy heads of the institution concluded a contract for the supply of medical respirators at 80% more than the market value without tenders. The total overpayment was about UAH 2 million.
Another deputy bought medical gloves 2,5 times more expensive. The overpayment on purchases amounted to more than 1,5 million hryvnias.
Now they face up to 12 years with confiscation.
