This spring, Ukrainians will be able to write prescriptions for medicines using a simplified system: from April this year, citizens will be able to issue electronic prescriptions for themselves.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, clarifying that the new method will affect those drugs recorded in the State Register of Medicines.
"The electronic prescription will be extended to all ready-made medicinal products contained in the State Register of Medicinal Products and subject to dispensing according to a doctor's prescription. An e-prescription can be issued by a doctor of any specialty of a state, communal or private clinic, or a doctor-FOP. For this, the institution does not need to have a contract with the NSZU," the message says.
The e-prescription can be obtained regardless of the presence of a declaration from the family doctor, however, the patient must be registered in the electronic health care system.
