The Cabinet of Ministers supported the draft law "On regulating the circulation of cannabis plants for medical, industrial purposes, scientific and scientific and technical activities to create conditions for expanding patients' access to the necessary treatment of oncological diseases and post-traumatic stress disorders obtained as a result of the war."
According to him, medical cannabis contains only cannabidiol and has no psychoactive effect, so it will not be in demand by drug addicts.
"At the same time, we still propose to establish strict control over the cultivation, production and sale of drugs, understanding the sensitivity of this issue in society and are ready to gradually develop this industry, showing the results of treatment and assistance to Ukrainian patients. Not to import, but to make our own, Ukrainian," Lyashko added.
