Acting Minister of Energy Yury Vytrenko believes that receiving subsidies has a detrimental effect on the human psyche, as it makes people feel poor.
He stated this during the event at the "Ukrainian Crisis Media Center".
According to Vytrenko, "it is an abnormal situation when the majority of people in the country, or a significant part, receive subsidies."
"That's why psychologically it's also bad for people, it's actually a signal to them that you're poor. And people don't want to feel poor, they want to feel better, you see, this oppresses their dignity. And we had the Revolution of Dignity in the 14th year, you know?" - said acting Minister of Energy.
