The SEAEAGLE bulk carrier with 65 tons of Ukrainian wheat has arrived in Sudan. It left the port of Chornomorsk on August 26.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the implementation of the initiative, 16 ships with almost 500 tons of food have already been sent to African countries.
In particular, two ships with more than 60 tons of grain were chartered by the World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations for countries suffering from a food crisis.
In addition, thanks to partners from the UN, another 190 tons of grain have already been purchased for further export to Africa.
