The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, was vaccinated against the coronavirus during his visit to the OAS zone in the Luhansk region. Emu was injected with the Indian drug Covishield.
The head of state announced this on his Twitter account on Tuesday, March 2.
"I was vaccinated against Covid-19. He did it on the front line with our soldiers as commander-in-chief. The same Oxford / AstraZeneca (Covishield) from India, which was first delivered to Ukraine, was given to millions of people in the world. The vaccine will allow us to live without restrictions again," Zelensky wrote.
In his Instagram account, Volodymyr Zelensky said that the military and medical workers of Ukraine are already being vaccinated against the coronavirus, and the president is urging everyone else to sign up for vaccination through the Diya application.
"There is nothing to be afraid of, I am setting a personal example," the head of state wrote.
