From April 9, the red level of epidemic danger will be in effect on the territory of Zaporozhye and Khmelnytskyi regions. Such a decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the State Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations.
As noted by Deputy Minister of Health — Chief State Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyashko, the situation is worsening in the specified regions.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, the rate of hospitalization of patients with COVID-19, established by the government resolution, has been exceeded. It is 131 people per 100 thousand. The bed occupancy rate was also exceeded.
In the Zaporozhye region, an increase in the level of hospitalization and the rate of detection of cases of coronavirus infection has been observed for three days.
"Thus, there is every reason to establish a red level of epidemic danger in these two regions," Lyashko summed up and added that the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Health will have to regulate the issue of special flights that will operate from Khmelnytskyi and Zaporozhye regions.
Note that the "red" quarantine zone currently operates in 10 regions of Ukraine.
