In Odesa's covid-XNUMX hospitals, there are again problems with oxygen: as of this morning, the city does not even have the necessary daily volume. This became known during today's meeting in the City Hall.
Levon Nikohosyan, the head of the city health department, said that 7 tons are left for all hospitals in the city, while the daily need for hospitals is 15 to 18 tons. During the day, the delivery of six tons from the Odesa port plant is expected, but in total it will be 13 tons - that is, less than necessary.
During the day, another six tons should be delivered from the Odesa port plant, but even this will not be enough to meet the daily needs of hospitals.
The unstable situation with oxygen was also confirmed by the first deputy head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Boris Voloshenkov. According to him, the oxygen situation in the region continues to remain unstable. This is due to the fact that not all oxygen is distributed evenly.
"Over the past day, 24 tons of oxygen were used for oxygen support, 22 tons of which were imported. And today, in the morning, there were 39 tons. But not all oxygen is evenly distributed. There are some tanks in which there is more ego. That is, there are hospitals where it needs to be distributed manually in order to ensure everyone evenly," Voloshenkov said.
In addition, the number of covid-XNUMX hospitals increased in the Odesa region, and this led to problems with logistics.
It should be noted that the number of people willing to be vaccinated has decreased in the region. If there were about 20 of them last weekend, only 7 of the region's residents were vaccinated. According to officials, in order to reach the desired level of stability, it is necessary for about 23 thousand people to be vaccinated every day.
