The Ministry of Health recommends Ukrainians not to visit countries where a new strain of coronavirus has been detected, primarily Great Britain. On Tuesday, December 22, chief sanitary doctor Viktor Lyashko told about this.
"We recommend that everyone, if possible, refrain from non-essential trips to Great Britain and from it to the territory of Ukraine. Also, if possible, refrain from traveling to Denmark, the Netherlands and Australia, where cases of the circulation of this mutation of the coronavirus have already been recorded," he said.
Lyashko noted that Ukraine will not yet ban entry from Britain, but is introducing a number of restrictions for those arriving from there.
Yes, arrivals must have a medical insurance policy that covers treatment for the coronavirus (for foreigners); a negative PCR test made no later than 48 hours before crossing the border; in the absence of a test, he will go into self-isolation for 14 days with the Do at Home application.
Lyashko also says that in Ukraine they will intensify testing for the possible detection of a new strain of the coronavirus.
