During question time for the government at the Council meeting on Friday, December 4, the head of the Ministry of Health, Maksym Stepanov, announced the signing of an agreement on the supply of coronavirus vaccines to Ukraine on December 7.
"Ukraine will receive a vaccine, about 8 million doses, under the global COVAX initiative. We plan to sign the relevant documents by December 7. I think that the deadline for obtaining this vaccine is the end of the first - the beginning of the second quarter of 2021. In addition, we are at the stage of finalizing agreements with global vaccine manufacturers, which have already completed the corresponding third phase of clinical trials. This includes the Pfizer company," Maksym Stepanov said.
