The new wave of Covid-19, the peak of which is predicted for February, will differ from the previous ones. Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko announced this today live on TSN.
"What we are predicting about the new wave is that it will differ from the previous one, which was in October-November 2021. It will differ in terms of the number of cases, as it is predicted to double, or even more, new patients with coronavirus. Last wave we had 27 thousand. cases per day, now we forecast approximately 60 thousand sick," Lyashko said.
According to the minister, the peculiarity of this wave is that the number of hospitalized patients should be smaller. At the same time, the minister urges not to be frivolous and get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
As a reminder, more than 32 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the past XNUMX hours. Such a number of patients first fixed in Ukraine throughout the pandemic.
