Ukraine unexpectedly set an absolute anti-record in terms of the number of people infected with the Covid-19 coronavirus disease. On January 26, 32 new cases of the disease were recorded in our country.
This has not happened in the entire two years of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health clarifies.
At the same time, the level of hospitalizations and mortality did not increase, but remained at the same level: 3016 people were hospitalized, and 154 patients died.
Doctors say with cautious optimism that despite the fact that more than 30 new cases have already been registered in Ukraine, no more than 30% of beds with oxygen are occupied in hospitals.
The worst situation with morbidity is in Ivano-Frankivsk (2862), Lviv (2696) and Zhytomyr (2467) regions, in Kyiv (2012), in Odesa (1939) and Sumy (1909) regions.
The most deaths over the past day were in Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipropetrovsk (13 each), Zakarpattia (12), Khmelnytskyi (11), Vinnytsia and Donetsk (10 each) regions.
