The Ukrainian president emphasized the importance of citizens' readiness for the military de-occupation of Crimea, as the Russian occupiers will not return it just like that.
The operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to liberate Crimea has not yet begun, but the readiness and desire to liberate it from the Russian occupation has already arisen in the minds of Ukrainian citizens. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with the French TV channel TF1 info.
"The operation itself has not yet started. When it starts, you will definitely hear it. I believe that the reconquest of Crimea began in people's minds and this is very important. In our inner desire, in the unity of attitude towards this," said Zelensky.

Zelensky also answered a question about whether he would go to sea after the liberation of the peninsula.
"I love Crimea. And that is why I will gladly come to our Ukrainian occupied Crimea by sea. It would be nice to come there in the summer of 2023," he said.
