Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, signed amendments to the 2021 State Budget regarding compensation to consumers for electric heating costs, the document was handed over to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi for signature.
This was reported in the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
The Law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada provides for the allocation of 1,4 billion hryvnias in compensation from the State Budget of Ukraine in connection with the increase in electricity tariffs.
The budget program will concern the payment of electricity to the population that lives in residential buildings equipped with electric heating installations, as well as in multi-apartment buildings that are not gasified with natural gas and that do not have or do not have centralized heating systems. In addition, the program will be extended to large families, foster families and family-type children's homes.
