Illegal labor is massively fined in Ukraine: every third enterprise has suffered

The most frequent violation is undocumented workers.

Every third enterprise checked by the State Labor Service of Ukraine violates labor legislation. This was reported by OpenDataBot on Monday, August 2.

At the same time, the most frequent violation is undocumented workers. If a person works without an employment contract, a warning is issued for the first and third groups of the simplified taxation system. The rest face a fine of 60 hryvnias.

In 2021, the country wants to conduct twice as many checks as in 2020. They plan to check 21150 enterprises.

Checkers come to the company when:

  • the number of employees does not correspond to the volume of work performed;
  • employers do not submit information on the employment of employees to the PFU (including the absence of employees from merchants of excise goods);
  • the number of employees working part-time increased sharply (by 20% or more);
  • natural persons have been working under a civil law contract with one employer for more than a year;
  • 30% or more of the employer's employees work under civil law contracts;
  • 10% or more personnel were cut during the year.

Let us remind you that the authorities are intensifying the fight against the shadow economy. On July 1, inspections began at enterprises to identify employees working unofficially.

It was also reported that Ukraine intends to raise taxes. With the help of raising a number of taxes and rents, the authorities intend to receive additional tens of billions of hryvnias.
