"Servant of the people" announces a major tax reform

In the first quarter of next year

The Servant of the People faction intends to announce a major tax reform in the first quarter of 2022. This was reported by the head of the faction Davyd Arahamiya in an interview with the agency "Interfax-Ukraine».

"In the first quarter of next year, we will announce a major tax reform for business - I think its representatives will be pleased," he said.

Earlier, the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Danyil Hetmantsev, announced the registration in the parliament by the end of 2021 of the draft law on reducing the taxation of the income of individuals and legal entities, as well as the introduction of a tax on withdrawn capital (NVC).

According to Arahamiya, it will also be about dividing companies by risk.

"Conditionally, this is such an indulgence. If you pay taxes, then you have a "green pass" and no one at all has the right to approach you and check your business. If you don't pay taxes, you have a lot of problems, and your business is being inspected. As a result, a person understands that he is in a green zone with a favorable climate, in a yellow zone with a potential risk or in a red zone, then there will be no mercy, and the state will apply all kinds of "punitive measures" to him, Arahamiya explained.

And he added that at the same time, the draft law will provide for sanctions against representatives of those state bodies that will come to check businesses with a "green passport".

"He who comes with a check to the green passport holder will not be lucky, regardless of what the checking body represents, he will face punishment up to dismissal," Arahamiya said.

According to him, the faction also intends to bet on the tourism industry and attracting tourists to Ukraine.

"We are betting heavily on the influx of tourists to Ukraine. People missed traveling. We saw how this year a well-thought-out initiative increased the number of tourists from Arab countries several times and brought a lot of money to Ukraine. We have several similar "pilots" that will allow service industries to breathe more freely, will give them the opportunity to make money after two Covid-XNUMX years," Arahamiya noted.
