In the second reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 4430 from the presidential business support package. He introduces tax breaks during the period of quarantine restrictions. For this, amendments will be made to the Tax Code.
The people's elected representatives made the corresponding decision during today's meeting.
Thus, in the first reading and as a basis for the document, 305 People's Deputies voted. Then it was immediately supported in the second reading and in total - 302 votes. The adopted law provides:
- to write off the tax debt of 3 hryvnias outstanding as of November 060, 1;
- to postpone until December 29, 2021 the repayment of tax debts of 6 hryvnias for self-employed persons, in particular, and for self-employed persons;
- write-off of penalties and fines, in the case of self-payment of the tax debt on the principal payment within six months from the date of entry into force of the law;
- exempt taxpayers of the single tax of the first group from paying this tax and a single contribution for December 2020 and January-May 2021.
As a reminder, the bill No. 4430 was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky. At the end of November, the document was registered in the parliament together with two other draft laws aimed at supporting business during the quarantine period.
