On Saturday, April 29, members of the delegation from the United States of America came to Kyiv to sign an agreement on a major investment to help small and medium-sized businesses, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink said.
"We warmly welcome the Director General of the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Scott Nathan, the Assistant Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Europe Erin McKee and the Coordinator of State Department assistance in Europe Maria Longhi to sign the investment with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky $25 million DFC with Horizon Capital to support high-growth SMEs,” the ambassador tweeted.
Brink emphasizes that the goal is to help Ukraine's economy not just survive, but also prosper.
It is expected, in particular, that the members of the delegation will sign an investment agreement in the amount of $25 million with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, to support small and medium-sized businesses.
"We must act quickly to help Ukraine's economy not just survive, but also prosper. By supporting Ukraine's defense, we are also investing in Ukraine's future," Brink wrote in her micro-blog on Twitter.
