Banks will report weekly to the National Bank of Ukraine on their customers' card transactions, — Ministry of Finance

Transactions of any amount will be included in the report

From June 5, banks will report to the National Bank of Ukraine on their customers' card transactions every week, — Ministry of Finance.

Every Monday, by 16.00 p.m., banks must send the National Bank information about their customers' non-cash payments on the Internet for the previous week. Such data must be submitted with an indication of the name of the client or the name of the business entity that made the relevant payments. This is stated in the Letter NBU (No. 25−0005/38228 dated June 1, 2023), which was at the disposal of the Ministry of Finance.

This will apply to the following banking transactions:

  • P2P transfers (transfer between bank cards of individuals);
  • Replenishment/withdrawal of cash from cards at ATMs and cash registers;
  • payment on the Internet;
  • Transfer of funds from the card to the company's current account or payments to customer cards from the company's account.

At the same time, transactions of any amount will be included in the report, since the Letter does not separately specify the threshold from which the transaction should be tracked.
