In addition, in 2021, 10% more administrative protocols were drawn up, 19% more urgent restraining orders were issued against offenders, and the number of registered offenders increased by 11%.
"Traditionally, when analyzing statistics, we observe an increase in the number of citizens contacted and an increase in the response of the police," noted the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Kateryna Pavlychenko.
Pavlychenko noted that a stable trend has been forming in Ukrainian society in recent years - they stop being silent about domestic violence. She emphasized that increasing the level of awareness and awareness of citizens helps law enforcement officers to strengthen the mechanisms of prevention and response to violence.
