On Wednesday, August 17, a storm warning was announced throughout Ukraine.

"Thunderstorms in Ukraine on the afternoon of August 17, heavy rains in Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions," the warning reads. As noted, due to the bad weather, Ukraine has declared danger level I, yellow.
Today, a heavy downpour flooded Odessa. Due to the downpour, the movement of some trams and trolleybuses in the city was temporarily suspended. Local residents reported flooding of streets and houses, cars floating around the city. In places, the water level reached the knee.
