The Verkhovna Rada supported the provision of a one-time cash payment in case of disability or death due to war. The corresponding draft law No. 7353 was supported on the basis of 267 deputies.
We are talking about persons who are authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government, employees of critical infrastructure facilities, and journalists who were injured while performing their duties during the period of martial law.
The following are eligible for payments: journalists, doctors, energy workers, railway workers, state and local employees, utility workers, drivers and other employees of critical infrastructure facilities.
The compensations will be:
— I group of disability - 800 hryvnias;
— II group – 500 hryvnias;
— III group – 200 hryvnias;
— loss of working capacity without establishment of disability – 100 hryvnias;
— in case of death – 1 hryvnias.
The source of funding for these payments will be the reserve fund of the state budget.
