Military Denmark published photo and video from the site of the gas leak in the Baltic Sea at the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
On the night of September 26, the operator of Nord Stream 2 reported that the pressure in the gas pipeline dropped from 105 bars to 7. Despite the fact that the gas pipeline was never put into operation, it managed to be filled with 300 million cubic meters of gas a few days before , as Germany canceled the launch.
The leak occurred a day before the ceremonial launch of the Baltic gas pipeline, which will bring gas from Norway to Poland. The pipeline with a capacity of 10 billion cubic meters per year is an alternative for Warsaw to completely abandon Russian gas.
Currently, the Danish Ministry of Defense reports that the frigate Absalon and the environmental vessel Gunnar Thorson have been sent to the site of the gas pipeline leak, which will monitor the water in the city of the accident.
Instead, information is spreading in the mass media about a possible sabotage by the Russian Federation, which thus continues the pressure and energy blackmail of European countries for their support of Ukraine. In confirmation of this version, Swedish seismologists reported the registration of powerful underwater explosions in the area of the gas leak.
