It is reported that a three-week forest fire has engulfed a city in Northern California, destroying most of its historic center and residential quarters.
"The fire burned the whole garden. Our historic buildings, family homes, small businesses and children's schools are completely lost," said Plumas County Executive Kevin Goss.
According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, this fire became the sixth largest fire in the history of the state.
