More than 800 Russian servicemen and about 200 units of military equipment are taking part in exercises conducted by the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District.

The scientists assume that the conventional enemy was able to imperceptibly bypass the main parts of the general military grouping of troops in the Voronezh region.
The main goal of the scientists is to check the readiness of the units to repel a covert attack by the "enemy" and to make decisions to destroy superior forces, the message states.
The 20th general army is considered one of the largest combined armed forces of the Russian Federation. The army headquarters is located in Voronezh, not far from the border with Ukraine.
