President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko closes the state border of Belarus with Lithuania and Poland and strengthens the border with Ukraine. He announced this at the women's forum "For Belarus" at the "Minsk-Arena", writes the official website of the Belarusian president.
"I'll tell you honestly, we don't know what they'll throw out next. We understand that there are very few techniques left in their arsenal before unleashing a hot war. Therefore, we are forced to withdraw the army from the streets, as I have already said, the half-army will deploy its guns and close the state border from the West, primarily with Lithuania and Poland. We are forced to strengthen the state border, to our greatest regret, with our fraternal Ukraine," Lukashenko said.
And he added: "Know that I am not an aggressor, I am a very peaceful person." I do not want our country to go to war. Moreover, I do not want Belarus and the same Poland, Lithuania to turn into a theater of military operations, where our issues will not be resolved. Therefore, today, in front of this hall of the most beautiful, advanced, patriotic people, I want to appeal to the people of Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine: stop your crazy politicians, don't let the war break out!"
"Believe me, the situation is very difficult. And I don't want to complicate it. We are men, and we will solve this problem," assured the Belarusian leader.
