Today, the Genoa football club announced the dismissal of the head coach of the team, Andrey Shevchenko.
"The club thanks the coach and his staff for the hard work they have done in recent months," the message says.
Shevchenko headed Genoa on November 7. Under the Ukrainian coach, the team played 11 matches - seven defeats, three draws and one victory. The Ukrainian specialist could not pull the team out of the bottom of the tournament table.
Sheva commented on his resignation as follows: "I'm still young and gaining experience."
