On October 19, a new terminal began operating at Zaporozhye International Airport. 123 passengers of the Zaporozhye-Kyiv flight of the SkyUp airline took advantage of the first ego benefits. This was reported by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykly.
The capacity of the new terminal is 400 passengers per hour. It has a modern design and a comfortable space. International flights should start soon.
As Kryklyi noted, the development of regional airports remains the main priority for this and subsequent years.
"In September, preparatory work on the construction of the new airfield complex of the Dnipro airport began, we are working on determining the optimal location of the new airport in Transcarpathia," he said.
As a reminder, on September 24, it was signed in Bratislava bilateral intergovernmental agreement between Ukraine and Slovakia, which should unblock and restore the full operation of the airport in Uzhgorod. This will allow the Zakarpattia region to be connected by air with other regions of Ukraine, as well as with foreign ones.
