The authorities warn that soon the Russian fleet may launch an attack on Odessa.
On the morning of February 28, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Aleksey Arestovych, held a traditional briefing for journalists.
"11 Russian large amphibious ships, each of which carries about a battalion's worth of equipment, have left the Crimea and are looking for a shipwreck, possibly in the Odessa area.
They may try to land an amphibious assault, but we will see what the Russian military's amphibious operation is, and what the Ukrainian military's amphibious defense operation is. I think that ours will do everything better than usual."
