In the Odesa region, from April 20 to 23, counter-sabotage exercises will be held at the sites of possible terrorist attacks. This was reported in the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa Region.
The three-day training, in conditions as close as possible to real ones, will be held in the territory of the Suvorovsky district of Odessa and the village of Usatovo. Their goal is to work out an algorithm for countering sabotage and terrorist groups, checking the level of anti-sabotage protection of potentially vulnerable objects, as well as implementing a set of other measures aimed at improving interagency cooperation.
It should be noted that during large-scale training in certain areas, a temporary introduction of a special regime is possible, including the restriction or prohibition of the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, verification of identity documents, searches of personal belongings and cars, and the like.
The Security Service of Ukraine asks the residents and guests of the region to understand the temporary inconvenience and properly respond to the legal requirements of law enforcement officers. All actions will take place within the framework of the current legislation.
In addition, SBU employees ask citizens to inform law enforcement officers in case of:
— the arrival or stay in the region of suspicious persons who show a heightened interest in military facilities, buildings of state authorities, objects of critical infrastructure and places of mass gathering of people;
— appearance of suspicious vehicles or unmanned aerial vehicles near strategic objects;
— identification of suspicious items or means of destruction;
— receiving information about intentions to carry out sabotage and terrorist activities or other illegal actions.
"If you receive such information, please call the USBU hotline in the Odesa region (048) 725-33-23 or call the special line of the National Police 102," the SBU added.
We will remind you that it was previously reported that the SBU conducts large-scale anti-terrorist exercises on the border with Crimea.
