"Infoksvodokanal" continues large-scale replacement of outdated networks and equipment. Today, work is being carried out on one of the main water pipes, which provides drinking water to the residents of the Malinovsky district of the city.
As part of the overhaul of Shota Rustavela Street, which is being carried out by the city council, "Infoksvodokanal" will replace water pipes. Instead of a steel pipeline, about 530 meters of a new polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 160 mm will be laid on M. Babadjianan and Shota Rustaveli Streets, the service life of which will be at least 50 years.
In addition, modern shut-off valves will be installed, which, if necessary, will allow for local shutdowns. Employees of the technical service will build new wells and install fire hydrants.
In order to start the work on the transfer of the pipeline, the employees of the water company must install a new shut-off valve in order to avoid disconnection of a significant number of streets and consumers in the future.
In this regard, please note that in order to carry out the above-mentioned works, on January 21 from 09:00 to 20:00, the water supply to consumers of the following streets of the city will be stopped: Efimova, Skvortsova, Zelena, Pyshenina, Sh. Rustaveli, M. Babadzhanyana, Poezdnaya, Herzen.
