Odessa residents have a few days left to settle their water debts ahead of the tariff increase.
We remind you that from January 1, 2022, the cost of 1 cubic meter of centralized water supply and drainage will increase by 17% and amount to UAH 35,16. The corresponding resolution was adopted by the National Commission on December 24, which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and communal services.
Prices are also changing for "Infoksvodokanal", which will have to pay significantly more for electricity, reagents and taxes from the new year.
At the same time, a third of consumers are in no hurry to fulfill their obligations. As of December 29, only 70% of citizens paid for the water use services provided in November. The total debt continues to be a record and amounts to a quarter of a billion hryvnias. Residents of the sleepy districts of the city: Suvorovskogo and Kyivskogo are among the leaders in non-payment.
Such a low payment discipline and astronomical debts of subscribers negatively affect the reliability of the water supply of the entire city, and everyone wants to have water for the holidays. In turn, the water utility must pay for reagents, materials, and electricity in a timely manner and in advance. Technical services must promptly eliminate emergency situations, and, at the same time, it is necessary to continue work on the modernization of the enterprise and networks.
In this regard, "Infoksvodokanal" calls on all non-payers to pay their water debts in time by the end of December, because as the folk wisdom says: "As you meet the new year, you will spend it."
It can be done in seconds without leaving home and without overpayments. It is enough to go to the website of the water company or use the link on your smartphone, and pay for water in one click without registration and commissions, with a card of any bank.
