From January 1, 2022, teachers' salaries will increase from 10% to 30%. The amount of additional payments for certain types of pedagogical activity is also determined. The Cabinet of Ministers established the size of salary increases for employees in state and communal institutions and educational institutions.
It should be noted that there are no general secondary school teachers in the list of teachers whose salaries are increased. Therefore, for the lion's share of teachers, the salary will not change.
The salary will increase by 10% for:
- pedagogical workers whose activities are directly related to the educational process in institutions of specialized education;
- pedagogical workers in gymnasiums, lyceums, collegiums, boarding gymnasiums, boarding lyceums, boarding collegiums;
- pedagogical workers in higher vocational schools;
- teaching staff in boarding schools.
Higher salaries are provided for:
- By 20%, the salaries of pedagogical workers in institutions of preschool education of the compensatory type are increased.
- By 25% in special institutions of general secondary education (special schools, educational and rehabilitation centers).
- By 30% in specialized children's homes, in orphanages.
Surcharge for classroom instruction
- For teachers of 1-4 and preparatory classes in general secondary education institutions, 20% of the salary,
- 5% for teachers in grades 11-12 (25) in general secondary education institutions,
- Teachers in professional (vocational and technical) education institutions - 20%.
- Also, the resolution established the amount of additional payment for checking academic papers.
