Debts of 23 heat energy enterprises in Odessa and the region threatened the beginning of the heating season.
This was reported in the press service "Naftogaz of Ukraine».
Risks of failure of the heating season exist for 15 companies in Odessa, two in Chernomorsk, as well as for companies in Podolsk, Razdelnaya, Ovidiopole, Khlebodarsk, Belyaevka, and Rena.
"Naftogaz is extremely serious about the protection of Ukrainians during the heating season and is meeting all sides of this process as much as possible. The company expects the same responsible attitude from heat producers towards their obligations to customers and the requirements of the law," the message says.
According to Naftogaz Ukraine, enterprises must fulfill one of the following conditions to supply gas:
• ensure the rate of calculation is not less than 90%;
• conclude a debt restructuring agreement with Naftogaz;
• agree with Naftogaz and the executive body of the local council on the debt repayment schedule until 2021.
