Editor in Chief "Public investigation" Hryhory Kozma said that he is ready to transfer his own armored vehicles to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. As the journalist wrote on Facebook, he bought two Ford cars for protection after the attempt on his life in August 2018. Then, 10 months before the end of the pre-trial investigation, he was under state protection and the car was used to move around the city.
«In this difficult time for Ukraine, when the enemy has breached our borders, and the territorial defense is weak, I am ready to give two specialized armored Fords to the military or terror defense for the transportation of valuables and persons. They are useful for transporting documents, weapons, people, and anything else that requires formal handling. The cars are absolutely identical and well equipped, with their own tricks: an armored capsule, an automatic fire extinguisher, etc. They, of course, will not withstand hits from a grenade launcher, but they will survive shots from simpler weapons. Vandals and raiders, especially. We are civilians and we only have civilian armor", the journalist wrote.
Grigory Kozma writes that he does this publicly so that the society can monitor the fact that the cars are not appropriated by some functionary, but he does not pursue media benefits for himself.
