The new governor of the Odesa region, Sergey Hrynevetskyi, who has already been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers for this position, called on the citizens of Odessa to fulfill their civic duty and vote for Gennady Trukhanov in the elections for the mayor of Odesa on November 15. He announced this on the air of the First City Channel.
Hrynevetskyi emphasized that a politician, in addition to charisma, must also have a certain history, because local self-government is a complex institution. According to him, Gennady Trukhanov has this story: in 2005, he was elected a deputy of the city council, then headed a faction, became a people's deputy and was twice elected mayor of Odessa.
"A lot has been done in the city. 7 years ago, the infrastructure of Odessa was in a critical state, now we can say that the city government brought it out of the crisis," said Hrynevetskyi.
He also said that over a long period of work, he developed his formula for success, and it consists in stability: a stable mayor, a stable team, a stable city.
