As part of the large-scale replacement of outdated networks and equipment, the company's specialists recently completed the renovation of emergency sections of the water supply on one of the busiest streets of Odessa — Semena Palia.
Here the pipes have reached their service limit. In order not to deal with constant repairs, they decided to renew them.
The works were carried out using the modern method of horizontal directional drilling. Thanks to this, it was not necessary to block traffic, and the water supply will be shut off for a long time.
Employees of the technical service laid more than half a kilometer of new polyethylene pipe with diameters of 225 and 315 mm, the service life of which will be at least 50 years. In addition, new wells were installed, shut-off valves with new fire hydrants were installed.
Thus, users of the specified area will be able to receive high-quality and uninterrupted water supply services.
It should be noted that the active renewal of pipelines and equipment in other areas of the city is currently underway, since by 2020 "Infoksvodokanal" prioritized the replacement of networks and the modernization of treatment facilities.
